Electromagnetic Frequenies (EMF’s)

EMF’s exist all around us both. In our modern technological age, they’re increasingly everywhere all the time.  We may not realize because we can’t see them.  The effects the 5G experiment are largely unknown but are increasingly damaging to our health.  Here’s what to know and how to procect yourself and your home. 

Basic Understanding of Electromagnetic Spectrum 

Radiation exists all around us and is in two forms: Ionizing and Non-Ionizing radiation.

Ionizing radiation is a form of energy that acts by removing electrons from atoms and molecules of materials that include air, water, and living tissue. It can travel unseen and pass through these materials.  Ionizing activity can alter molecules within the cells of our body and may cause eventual harm (such as cancer). 

Non-ionizing radiation has less energy than ionizing radiation. It does not remove electrons from atoms or molecules of materials that include air, water, and living tissue. 

Low frequency EMF radiation. They have lower frequencies than visible light and are non-ionizing radiation. Examples include EMFs from microwave ovens, computers, visible light, smart meters, WiFi, cell phones, Bluetooth, power lines, and MRIs.

High frequency EMF radiation. These have higher frequencies than visible light, which are ionizing radiation. Examples include ultraviolet (UV) light, alpha particles, beta particles, positrons, X-Rays, and Gamma rays.

Natural EMF’s

Electric and magnetic fields are an essential part of the physical and unseen world of our atmosphere. We have evolved with the natural EMFs of Earth’s and planetary magnetic field – the earth, sun and moon which synch with our healthy biological rhythms. The earth’s magnetic field is how we use a compass to find the north pole. Earth’s EMF is called the Schumann resonance (7.83 Hz). The sun is a big source of natural EMFs, including visible light and UV radiation.

Your Body is Electric and Magnetic 

Our bodies are electrical in nature. We’re made up of atoms, including protons, electrons, and neutrons. Protons have a positive charge, neutrons have a neutral charge, and electrons have a negative charge. When these charges are out of balance, an atom becomes either positively or negatively charged. The switch between one type of charge and the other allows electrons to flow from one atom to another. The flow of electrons (negative charge) is what creates electricity. Our bodies are huge masses of atoms, so we can generate electricity.  Electric and magnetic fields occur naturally within our bodies in association with nerve and muscle activity.

We’re electrical in nature and our brains respond to the fields of energy. Scientists have discovered our bodies contain the magnetic material magnetite, in the human brain. Magnetite is a mineral that is especially susceptible to magnetic attraction, and allows us to respond to external fields. 

EMF’s Negative Effects On Health 

Excessive and chronic levels of radiation in your environment can lead to nervous system imbalances from neurotoxicity. 

At the cellular level, EMF waves interrupt major enzymatic processes in the body. Mitochondria and liver enzymes operate based on electrical conductivity and light energy. Our mitochondria sense EMFs as an environmental danger and release an immune reaction of inflammatory cytokines and endotoxins. This immune response causes internal stress and increases our susceptibility to contracting acute and chronic disease. This may lead to the following malfunctions:

While these natural EMF’s are essential to your well-being and life, EMF’s from man-made sources — electric currents and voltages from the power system — are harmful to us. EMFs impact our bodies on a cellular level, interfering with our natural bio-electromagnetic functions, causing negative impacts on health including cell membrane damage, loss of calcium ions and DNA damage. Long-term exposure to EMF’s has been linked to significant diseases, including cancer, brain tumors, diabetes, depression, heart disease, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and even suicide.  Studies also link EMFs to premature aging.

Living Your Dreams 

What do you see?

It seems life is flowing by faster every year and time is speeding up.  I’ve been focussing on my vision for 2024; seeing clearly what I want and designing an action plan to achieve it.  The process is called vision mapping.  Vision is imperative to know and realize the dreams in your heart. 

In the mornings, I’ve been taking time to be quiet and sit in silence. I’ll go outside with my coffee, journal and focus on my breathing.  The goal is to get out of my head and calm my mind so I can listen and tune into the presence of God.

I start to visualize what I want in my life and write it down. I see and feel how I want to live, and it becomes more real to me. After, I feel more relaxed, peaceful and inspired.  I’ve received creative ideas, insights and perspective of my life.

The notes I’ve written are used to plan the vision map with action steps to get the results. It’s an ongoing project I review often to organize my time and priorities to make it a reality. 

We’re all one of a kind, created for a specific purpose. Everyone has special talents, skills, dreams and desires. Our vision allows us to live out our dreams and destinies.

Move It or Lose it

You’re either growing or declining. Anything you try to maintain will decrease over time. Whatever we don’t use, is lost. 

Motion is life. The brain and body rely on movement to stimulate and enhance nerve communication pathways. This ensures cognitive health and body function.  Muscle weaknesses occur through lack of use.  Wolf’s law states that bones will adapt to the degree of mechanical loading exerted on them.  Skeletal muscles are strengthened when resistant forces are applied to them, and weaken due to inactivity.  We must move and be physically active or the body breaks down. 

Ligamentus Creep is defined as the progressive deformation of a structure under constant load. 

Think a rubber band. If you repeatedly or consistently pull, stretch, or hold the rubber band to stress it, it begins to lose its original elasticity, causing it to be more lax or even break.

Long term sitting has negative structural and physiological consequences. 

In the sitting position, your hip flexors (psoas, iliacus, and rectus femoris) are in a shortened state. As creep sets in your body adapts to having shortened hip flexors, limit ing your ability to reach full hip extension, causing joint tension, pain and affecting movement. After about 30-45 minutes of being sedentary, the soft tissues of the body begin to stiffen, cause pain, muscle imbalances and are more prone to injury. 

Ligament creep commonly occurs because of forward head posture from hours of computer work, playing on mobile devices or texting. Keeping the head and neck in this position stretches the neck ligaments beyond the point they should be stretched while stabilizing the head. 

The effects of creep deactivate the spinal stabilization system (activation of muscles in your trunk), and you lose the ability to stabilize your spine.  This causes back pain and puts increases risk for injuries.

Killer Effects of Sitting 

Over a lifetime, the effects of sitting add up. Alpa Patel, an epidemiologist at the American Cancer Society, tracked the health of 123,000 Americans between 1992 and 2006. The men in the study who spent six hours or more per day of their leisure time sitting had an overall death rate that was about 20 percent higher than the men who sat for three hours or less. 

Do This Everyday- Move. Be Active. Stretch. Walk

Get up and move every 20 minutes. Avoid long periods of time sitting at work/ school.
